Stand Out Colours

The Queen's horse racing colours
The 2012 London Olympic games volunteer's uniform

"In Britain every racehorse owner must register at least one unique set of colours, or "silks". The Queen's colours of purple, gold braid, and scarlet sleeves have been in use since the time of Edward VII (1841-1910)."
"The uniforms worn by 70.000 volunteers at the London 2012 Games had to stand out from the crowd so they were designed with the regal deep purple and vibrant poppy red colours."
